Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellowship to David Martini

We’ve received the fantastic news that former AustroSIF PostDoc David Martini will be awarded a Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellowship to improve the representation of chlorophyll fluorescence and non-photochemical quenching in ORCHIDEE with Fabienne Maignan at LSCE.

Within the frame of the fellowship David plans to spend some time in our lab to work on the AustroSIF data set and use it for benchmarking of the improved model.

New project

We’ve been informed today that Felix will be awarded a grant by the Tyrolean Science Fund (TWF) to investigate “COS emission by vascular plants under biotic and abiotic stress” – congratulations!

Georg receives Forschungspreis der Stiftung Südtiroler Sparkasse

As mentioned earlier in our News post, Georg was awarded the “Forschungspreis der Stiftung Südtiroler Sparkasse”. The picture shows him flanked by the rector and vice rector for research of the University of Innsbruck, as well as the president of the Stiftung Südtiroler Sparkasse, who handed over the certificate.

Award goes to Biomet group

We have received notice that Georg has been awarded the “Forschungspreis der Stiftung Südtiroler Sparkasse” – congratulations! The award ceremony will take place on 19 November 10:00 at the Archeological Museum.
