Early this week, Kathi and Albin were at Lunzer See to dismantle the eddy covariance equipment from the floating platform, which will be hauled from the lake for the winter period. This year, for the first time, we will be making eddy flux measurements during wintertime from both the East (first picture) and West (second picture) shore using two flux towers, thereby hoping to increase the fraction of data originating from the lake.
Last Thursday, Kathi^2, Peng and Georg were at Neustift to set up the advection equipment for the final campaign this year. Here you can find a video which compresses a few hours of work into 25 s.
After having transported equipment up north, Georg and Anouk helped Florian to set up the equipment at the SMEAR station Järvselja for the next four weeks. Below some impressions:
The last two days part of the group was in Fendt (Bavaria) to set up the advection measurement system as part of the 2016 ScaleX campaign.
