MSc thesis topic available

Within the frame of the project AgroClimHuaraz, we are offering a MSc thesis topic investigating phenological changes in the seasonal development of agricultural crops along a precipitation gradient in the area of Huaraz in the Peruvian Andes. The candidate is expected to use Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectrometer (MODIS) satellite timeseries of the normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) to diagnose changes in the phenological development and to relate these to changes in the amount and timing of precipitation during the wet season as derived from reanalysis products. See here for further details.
